Totem Stack Vessel

Hand-built by ceramic artist Dara Schuman, this sculptural vessel is composed of stacked, rounded forms that rise upward. Finished in a deep, matte charcoal glaze, the surface is intentionally raw, with subtle texture and natural variation that reveal the hand and the firing process. Narrowly opened at the top, this piece functions as a vessel but reads foremost as an object—balanced, meditative, and grounded. Striking on its own, it brings a sense of stillness and weight to shelves, pedestals, or layered arrangements.
