African Bronze Figure

This small bronze sculpture was crafted using the traditional lost-wax casting technique, a method long practiced in West Africa, particularly by artisans of the Benin and Ashanti cultures. The stylized creature—possibly a feline—features incised markings along its body, a curled tail, and upright ears. A small figure or motif perched on its back adds a layer of mystery and symbolism.
