Ember Pitcher

This wood-fired pitcher by the Unzicker Brothers embodies fluid craftsmanship and elemental beauty. Its elongated, full-bodied form narrows gracefully into a sculpted spout that ripples like the lip of a flower in bloom. The single, pulled handle curves in perfect counterbalance, both functional and sculptural.

The glaze reveals the story of its firing—earthy ochres, mossy greens, and smoky grays merge and streak in organic movement. Flame kisses and ash deposits leave behind blushes of deep rust and warm bronze. The base is particularly telling: flashing effects in coral and steel tones dance around raw clay, etched with the Unzickers’ signature shell marks at the base.
