Carved and scorched into a form that feels both ancient and elemental, the Echo Triangle Tray is a one-of-a-kind tray by Christian Nyberg. Shaped by fire and intuition, its surface bears the memory of flame—hardwood embers placed directly on the wood to burn natural depressions, scraped back, and returned to the fire. The process is repeated until the final shape emerges, dictated by heat and time rather than hand alone. A small brass inlay nods quietly to precision amidst the wildness. A vessel for objects or offerings, this piece holds both shadow and stillness.
