CN Splat Tray

This striking charred wood tray by Christian Nyberg blurs the line between function and sculpture. Its dynamic, flame-like silhouette feels almost animated—organic yet otherworldly. Each tendril-like extension ripples outward from the center, suggesting motion frozen in time. The surface, smooth yet subtly textured, bears the deep black finish achieved through a layered burning and scraping process.
