JWC Gold + White Mug

This wheel-thrown mug by Jessica Wertz Ceramics features a striking contrast of finishes and tones. The bottom half is finished in a smooth, matte white glaze, while the top is coated in a richly textured, metallic gold glaze that drips organically where the two surfaces meet. The transition evokes the look of molten metal cooling against porcelain. Inside, a clear glossy glaze enhances the tactile experience while ensuring functionality.
